Saturday, December 10, 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Luncheon & Movie, “Hillsong – Let Hope Rise” According to film critic Bob Walszewski, the moviedelivers a stirring, refreshing – and musically familiar – reminder that Jesus still reigns amid the chaos of our world and that He invites us to worship and adore Him in it….The movie gives viewers a better perspective of the humble beginnings behind the Hillsong Church movement in Australia that launched this global worship phenomena…. that now includes – on any given Sunday – an estimated 50,000,000 believers around the world singing at least one Hillsong worship tune.” He gave it a 5 star rating!

Join us for a meal and earn why we at SHELC sing “those contemporary songs.”

Four week study of the Book of Daniel

From Fiery Furnaces to the Den of Lions we’ll learn to interpret the Writing on the Wall and many apocalyptic visions that the author used to give hope to people facing extreme life challenges and opponents. We’ll lean to keep the faith and strengthen our hope, especially as we struggle to keep Christ in this season of political, retail and relational unrest. Usher in the joy of the Christmas Season as you encounter Good News in this quizzical book. Great for beginner Bible Students.
