Besides providing space in our building for the Simsbury Food Pantry and Nourish My Soul, who share our mission to build food sufficiency in our community, Shepherd of the Hills has its own Community Garden on the property. We share our vegetables with our neighbors including residents of Owen Murphy Apartments (Independent Living for Seniors & Social Security Disabled).
During the summer we also offer Free Hotdog Suppers to the community on Monday evenings 5:00 – 6:30pm.
